Our Story

From Houston to
the Southeast.

Sabra Johnson spent 30+ years building a name — and Atlanta collectors have been shipping cars to Texas ever since.

Restorations By Sabra is the #1 automotive restorer in Houston, Texas — a multi-campus build house engineered like an OEM manufacturing floor, not a traditional garage. Every project runs through Sabra's signature, copyrighted 25-step build system: a disciplined framework of SOPs, checkpoints, and ROM cost modeling that turns restoration chaos into repeatable, certified precision.

As the waiting list grew and word spread through the Southeast, Sabra kept hearing the same request from Atlanta — bring the shop closer to home. Atlanta is his own backyard: Georgia roots, a car culture that never slows down, and one of the country's deepest minority-business networks.

"Without process, restoration is reactive. With process, it becomes precision."

The Houston campus keeps doing what it does best — media blasting, metal fab, paint, and engine builds, all in-house. Atlanta becomes the front door: intake, consultation, client care, and the final white-glove hand-off of a turnkey restoration.

The Conveyor

One factory. One highway.
One finished car.

Every build moves through the same disciplined line — heavy craft in Houston, fast-moving finishing work in Atlanta — connected by the I-20 corridor.

No Black Holes

Your car never disappears for months.

Restoration anxiety usually comes from silence. We borrowed a page from how the best manufacturers run production and built three fixes directly into the Sabra process.

A state-of-the-art client portal gives you direct access to back-office data, build notes, cost reports, and visual progression photos — so you always know exactly where your build stands.

02

Project Managers

Master builders build. A dedicated Atlanta project manager handles every question and update — so production never stalls to answer email, and you always know who to call.

03

Parameters of Expectations

Every build starts with a clear ROM — a rough-order-of-magnitude estimate that sets honest parameters of expectations for cost and timeline from day one.

Local Onsite Staff

The portal keeps you informed. Our Atlanta team keeps you covered.

Behind every login is a real local presence. Restorations By Sabra Atlanta staffs its own hub with people who handle your vehicle in person from day one.

Local Intake & Delivery

Your vehicle is picked up, inspected, and delivered by our own Atlanta team — never handed off to a third-party carrier you've never met.

Provenance & Proof

Every build earns
its own story.

Aftermarket value is rooted in documented history. Every completed restoration ships with a signature jewelry plate, a specific serial number, and a full digital journey scrapbook covering every stage of the build.

Turnkey restorations over 25 years old — and any major performance makeover, regardless of age — qualify for a Certificate of Authenticity. Builds completed under Sabra Performance Engineering receive a distinct Sabra Performance Vehicle (SPV) certification.

It's the same standard of provenance you'd expect from an OEM manufacturer, delivered on a vehicle that's one of one.

Unparalleled Capabilities

Built in-house. Built to last.

Restorations by Sabra is committed to producing legacy restorations for the greater Atlanta region — serving Buckhead and Tuxedo Park, Chastain Park, and Ansley Park, out through the northern suburbs of Alpharetta, Marietta, Duluth, Johns Creek, Sandy Springs, and DeKalb. Beyond building cars, the Atlanta satellite is designed to train and develop minority builders — extending the brand's reach and sustaining momentum well past a single showroom.
